The IBWSS Media Campaign Contest Is OpenPublished on January 5, 2018
A Media Campaign Contest is being held in connection with this year’s International Boating & Water Safety Summit (IBWSS). Hosted by the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC), National Water Safety Congress (NWSC), and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) the contest recognizes the creative communication strategies that boating and water safety advocates have used to showcase safety on and in the water.
Applicants must submit an online entry form that includes a project summary, target audience, goals, key messages, execution and evaluation. Projects can be brochures, posters, PSAs, giveaways, or educational. Each entry will be judged on uniqueness and innovation; clarity of message; boating and water safety message; adaptability; and measurement of success. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2018. Winners will be announced at the 2018 International Boating and Water Safety Summit, held March 4 to 7, in Lexington, Kentucky.
