SVN Marinas Brokers Sale of Day Break Marina

David Kendall, CCIM, senior advisor and national marina specialist with SVN Marinas, announced the successful sale of Day Break Marina, a premier full-service marina located on Bayou Chico in Pensacola, Florida, to Windward Marina Group, LLC. The transaction closed on August 1, 2025, with Kendall serving as the exclusive advisor.

Founded in 1989, Day Break Marina has been a fixture of the Pensacola boating community for more than three decades. Known as the “Local’s Marina,” it has long been celebrated for its prime location, outstanding service and strong community ties. The property features a 48,000-square-foot dry storage barn with 211 indoor racks, 158 outdoor racks and 14 wet slips, along with a 5,236-square-foot marina office and sales building and a 1,600-square-foot service building. Supporting its full-service operations, the marina also includes forklifts, dredging equipment, on-site fueling and a full-service ship store.

Originally established by the Adams family and later operated by Day Break Marina, LLC, the marina has maintained its role as Pensacola’s trusted boating hub for more than 35 years. As the marina enters this next chapter, the Adams family will continue its operational involvement through the marina’s new partnership with Windward Marina Group. Together, they aim to preserve Day Break’s legacy as the community’s flagship marina while introducing additional resources to enhance services and strengthen its connection to local boaters.
