Construction Begins for New Marina at Tamarack Resort
Published on September 22, 2025Tamarack Resort has announced that construction of its new public marina on Lake Cascade is underway, with a grand opening planned for Memorial Day Weekend 2026. As the newest lakefront amenity in Idaho, this full-service marina will be fully open to the public and represents a significant milestone in Tamarack’s long-term commitment to expanding year-round access to recreation across its mountain, meadow and lake.
The public marina will feature 100 boat slips available for seasonal rental, on-water fuel service, a retail and rental cabana and food and beverage options designed to serve both resort guests and the wider community. Visitors will also enjoy enhanced lakefront amenities, including a dedicated swim area, expanded beaches, a sand volleyball court and a wide range of motorized and non-motorized boat rentals, including stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks and Hobie-style catamarans.
The marina will be operated as a public facility in alignment with state and federal guidelines. The project enhances existing public access at Poison Creek and brings significant infrastructure improvements to support boating, swimming, and lake recreation for resort guests, residents and visitors alike.
Seasonal slip rentals will be available with pricing and reservation details to be released in the coming months.
