TopSide Marinas Acquires Rathbun Lake Marina

TopSide Marinas, which owns and operates marinas across the United States, purchased Rathbun Lake Marina, a full-service marina and resort on Rathbun Lake in Iowa. The 160-acre leasehold property, operated under agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, includes approximately 246 wet slips, boat rentals, four campgrounds with roughly 144 campsites, a 12-room hotel and on-site dining at Louie’s Lakeside Bistro and Barbecue.

The company plans to expand the total slip count, add roofs to uncovered docks, introduce a service department and expand the boat rental operation and parking area to accommodate additional public boat launches.

The Iowa acquisition follows TopSide’s February 2026 purchase of Bay Harbor Marina in Michigan. The company also operates marinas in Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin and Illinois.
