Infrastructure Updates at Port 32 Jacksonville
Published on July 1, 2026Port 32 Jacksonville has completed a dredging project that has expanded its berthing capabilities. Port 32 Marinas, LLC, owns and operates the Jacksonville facility, which is located at the intersection of the St. Johns and Ortega rivers, approximately 25 miles from Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway.
Completed in just over three months, the project removed more than 5,700 cubic yards of sediment, deepening marina slips to an average of 5 feet at mean low water. Near-shore berths, once limited by sediment depth, are now fully operational.
“We view every investment through the lens of our members’ experience,” said Austin Schell, CEO of Port 32. “The Jacksonville dredging project is an example of that philosophy, taking feedback, identifying opportunities and making meaningful improvements that enhance the member experience.”
Close to downtown Jacksonville, where various dining and entertainment options await, the marina accommodates vessels up to 140 feet in length for transient boaters and long-term renters.
