New Marina Under Construction in Stuart, Florida
Published on September 30, 2026A new marina in Stuart, Florida, is slated for completion at the close of the 2027 season. Located on the St. Lucie River at the north end of Roosevelt Bridge, Atlantic Point Marina will offer wet slips, dry stack storage, an upland restaurant and ship’s store. Bolchoz Marine Advisors designed the marina which features 100 fixed and floating docks manufactured by Marina Technologies (MTI) for vessels up to 160 feet long, as well as 350 dry stack slips.
The site, once a test facility for Evinrude Outboard Motors, has recently undergone the demolition phase. The prefabricated concrete wall dry stack building is up, and the HDG steel girder roof supports are near completion. The outer fixed concrete breakwater wave attenuation panels are constructed, and wet slip docks are scheduled for installation by February 2027. Stuart-based Brothers Construction will perform the installation. MTI’s floating docks will feature premium composite decking, internal pile guides, adjustable cleats, soft-PVC fender options for safe dockage and all modern utilities. MTI will also provide a new floating fuel dock.
The new upland restaurant will include indoor and outdoor seating for 175 customers.
