Agenda Finalized for Marinas19 International Conference

The agenda for the Marinas19 International Conference and Trade Exhibition has been finalized. The event, held May 27 to 28 at the Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast in Australia, will have 33 sessions including plenary, workshops and practical demonstrations. Topics will include marina design, marinas and the connectivity of things, oil spill response demonstrations, superyachts, dredging, electric boats, marinas of the future, new markets, marine pests, improving boat yard performance and managing waterways.

A field trip will be held on May 29 that will include a dredging site inspection and a behind the scenes look at three marinas, including two of the largest boatyards on the Gold Coast.

The event will also include an awards dinner with a special focus on supporting the Marine Industry Foundation. The foundation raises money for both boating access for those with disabilities and to support young people in developing careers in recreational boating.
