America’s Boating Club Offers Online Boating Safety Courses

The United States Power Squadrons® – America’s Boating Club® has provided a way for recreational boaters to make use of their time, while improving their skills for a safer and more enjoyable boating experience.

The organization now offers an online boating safety course that allows students to proceed at their own pace. America’s Boating Course® 3rd Edition, is available online in English and Spanish. “During this global pandemic, the safest place for you and your loved ones is home,” said Mary Paige Abbott, chief commander, United States Power Squadrons – America’s Boating Club. “While you’re there, we would like to offer you, your family and friends a way to occupy yourselves – by brushing up on your skills for the boating season. Whether beginner, intermediate or advanced, there are classes to enhance your boating knowledge that also fit your schedule.”

For more than 100 years, the United States Power Squadrons – America’s Boating Club has provided boating safety education in the classroom and on the water. The organization is comprised of over 23,000 individuals and families in 340 local squadrons who contribute to their communities by promoting safe boating through education. Additionally, America’s Boating Club provides member benefits for those that join, such as discounts on boating products, insurance, and travel and lodging.
