AMI Recognizes Largest Ever Group of Certified Marina Professionals

The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) recognized 52 newly certified marina professionals during the AMI Conference & Expo held in Daytona Beach, Florida. This marks the largest group of new designees in the history of the program.

The 2025–2026 class includes 29 Certified Marina Managers (CMMs) and 23 Certified Marina Operators (CMOs) who earned their certifications between February 1, 2025, and January 2026. Each individual demonstrated the highest level of commitment to operational excellence, leadership, safety and professional development within the marina industry.

Corporate chain members continue to recognize the value and importance of certification. Notably, Safe Harbor Marinas celebrated 12 newly designated CMMs and CMOs this year. Additional corporate members with newly recognized employees include MarineMax, Guest Services and Loggerhead Marinas, among others.

The strong participation from corporate chains highlights a growing industry-wide commitment to professional standards and workforce development. Certification through AMI ensures marina professionals are equipped with advanced knowledge in operations, environmental stewardship, risk management, financial performance and customer service.
