Brownell Launches New Lifting Solution

Brownell Boat Stands & Equipment, has launched the BL5 Manual Boat Lift System, an innovative lifting solution designed to safely and efficiently remove motorboats weighing up to 8,000 pounds from their trailers for maintenance, repair and seasonal storage.

Developed to bridge the gap between smaller capacity manual lifting systems and larger hydraulic solutions, the BL5 offers boatyards, service facilities, dealerships and boat owners an economical way to handle larger vessels without the expense or complexity of hydraulic equipment. The system effectively doubles the lifting capacity of Brownell’s popular BL2 Manual Boat Lift System while maintaining the company’s commitment to safety, durability and ease of use.

The BL5 positions beneath the hull step and utilizes a precision ACME threaded rod with a manual handle to lift the boat safely off its trailer before lowering it onto boat stands. Designed for smooth operation, the system features a vertical lifting range of 21-43 inches and a 17-inch horizontal reach, making it ideal for bottom painting, mechanical service, inspections and long-term storage.

Each BL5 system includes four support stands, two lifting units and integrated wheels for improved mobility around the shop or yard. For extended storage applications, SB4 stands can be added to provide additional bow support.

The BL5 Manual Boat Lift System is available now through Brownell Boat Stands & Equipment and its authorized dealer network.
