Businesses Report Work Continues Amid Safety Precautions

According to a statement from Erich Pfeifer, president and CEO of Marine Travelift, Marine Travelift, Marine Travelift Mid-Atlantic, Shuttlelift, and ExacTech continue to be open for business and service, although no on-site visitors are permitted. The companies are considered critical business according to the United States Department of Homeland Security under CISA Critical Manufacturing Sectors, as well as under state and local government orders. The company is taking the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of its employees and its customers.

In addition, it is sourcing necessary parts in its supply chain and doing everything possible to hold to shipping schedules, including daily contact with suppliers on needs and logistics, and tapping its global service network to assist with local support needs.

The MarineTek team has also issued a statement. The company is focused on its role in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 and following the guidance of government officials and health authorities. The company’s global teams across all areas of the business have effective and secure systems in place to continue services from remote places of work. The number of staff in offices and on the ground at yard facilities has been minimized but work continues to safeguard the projects that are currently under construction with appropriate measures.
