Coast Guard Foundation Offers Scholarships

The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to strengthening the Coast Guard community and service by supporting members and families, has kicked off its 2024 scholarship season. Children of Coast Guard members can apply from February 1 to April 1 for awards ranging from $2,500 to $5,000. Scholarships are available to college-age children of Coast Guard members who are active duty, active-duty reserve, and retired.

All interested high school seniors and college-age children of Coast Guard members should check eligibility requirements and application instructions at coastguardfoundation.org/apply.

The program is now in its fourth decade, with more than $7.5 million awarded in scholarships to deserving students, who go on to strengthen their Coast Guard families by pursuing a higher education through college or technical school.
