Dock Replacement in Clearwater Beach, Florida

The city of Clearwater Beach, Florida, is renovating its marina with new storm-resistant docks. Golden Marine Systems successfully completed the first phase of the Clearwater Beach Marina replacement project. Phase I includes approximately 15,000 square feet of Golden’s Series 950 double-track floating dock system, selected for durability and performance in hurricane conditions. The initial phase also included the installation of two main piers with fingers, featuring pile guides and adjustable cleats. Golden’s Series 100, 55-foot aluminum gangways provide easy access to the marina. Phase II is scheduled for Spring 2026 and will include the renovation of the east side of the marina with an additional 8,800 square feet of dockage. Along with replacing the aging docks, the city’s project goals include optimizing marina slip mix and layout, utility modernization, maximizing city-owned submerged lands while maintaining existing slip count, replacing and raising the seawall and activating theMarina Walk.
