For more than a year, Dockwa has helped marinas throughout the U.S. manage long-term contracts – assisting marinas when staff can’t be on-site to accept checks and signed contracts from boaters in person – and now Dockwa is bringing another piece of the puzzle to boaters and marina teams.
Boaters will now have the ability to inquire directly with any Dockwa marina about seasonal or annual slips, moorings and storage.
Each marina’s Dockwa web profile now has a seasonal or annual dockage inquiry button. Boaters can click the button to go to that marina’s dedicated dockage inquiry page.
Boaters submit their interest in a marina by completing the inquiry form on the page that includes name, contact, vessel dimensions, insurance, registration and storage request details.
Submitting a long-term inquiry does not secure space at a marina: the marina will be instantly notified of an inquiry and reminded each Monday. If the marina can accommodate a boat, it’ll respond to the boater, if it can’t, it will decline the inquiry.
The marina will use Dockwa to email a secure link for the customer to securely sign and pay for a contract online.
