ICOMIA Recognizes IMCI

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) honored the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) at the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference.

IMCI was registered as an international non-profit organization in 1993 to develop certification programs to support the marine industry. The organization works with the following programs:

CE-Certification for Boats and Components; American Boat & Yacht Council Certified Component Program; National Marine Manufacturers Association Certification Program; World Sailing Certification Program; and certification programs for experts, companies, retailers and marinas.

IMCI has more than 2,800 clients in more than 75 countries with a board of directors representing 16 countries and an Intelligence Center that employs nine people to oversee political, technical and administrative matters.
