June is Officially Great Outdoors Month in all 50 States

For the ninth straight year, the President and all 50 state governors have issued proclamations calling June Great Outdoors Month®. The proclamations recognize the efforts of public and private partners to connect Americans with outdoor activity through Great Outdoors Month® events. The goal of Great Outdoors Month is for states and the country overall to build awareness of the economic, social and health benefits of active outdoor activities. The proclamations highlight recreation opportunities available in state parks, as well as on federal lands and waters. Some of the events specifically highlighted are Kids to Parks™ Day, National Fishing & Boating Week, National Get Outdoors Day, the Great American Campout and more.
