Marina Electrical Equipment Opens New Location

Marina Electrical Equipment is expanding to a new location in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The marina and electrical safety equipment manufacturer will move 2 miles from its current location to a 146,600-square-foot building, including office and industrial space, that sits on 14.2 acres of land. The increased size of the site will allow the company to grow using multiple high-speed lasers and state of the art fabrication equipment.

Marina Electrical Equipment builds 10,000 power pedestals each year, as well as utility centers, fire safety pedestals, substations, panel boards, wire and cable, and electrical metering devices.

Started in 2011, the company was the first to use downward facing lighting, back-lit receptacle faceplates, electric monitoring in a power pedestal, and wireless remote monitor reading.
