Marine Industry Certification Offered at Refit Conference

The first course of a six-course marine-industry certification program will be offered at this year’s Refit International Exhibition and Conference, January 10-11 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Developed by American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA) in partnership with the Landing School, the certification course is designed for project managers. The courses include Project Management Basics, The Art of Estimating, Boat Refit & Building Economics, Team Building and Communications, Project Control and Leadership and a Case Study. Those individuals completing the courses, held over two days, will be awarded the new project management certification.

Refit International Exhibition & Conference is a marine industry trade show combining exhibits, seminars, and demonstrations for yacht and boat refit and repair professionals. It is owned and managed by Professional Boatbuilder magazine.
