MarineMax Acquires Bay Pointe Marina

MarineMax has acquired Bay Pointe Marina of Quincy, Massachusetts. The full-service facility located on Town River has 247 wet slips, winter storage for 300 boats, and a 50-ton travelift hauling boats up to 65-feet. In addition, the Bay Pointe Waterfront restaurant is also on-site with seating for 300.
Larry Russo, Jr., MarineMax northeast regional president, said the company will relocate from its Dorchester, Massachusetts, location to Bay Pointe by October and plans to open a sales office in the spring of 2019 to represent Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Sailfish, Galeon, Azimut and Aquila.
MarineMax merged with Boston area Russo Marine in 2016, so this latest acquisition will add to its market share in the region as well as expand its service capability.
