MarineMax Announces Plans to Consolidate New York Stores

MarineMax announced plans to consolidate their New York stores on Long Island and expand their North Shore location in Huntington, New York.

“After careful consideration, we have decided to consolidate our MarineMax stores in the New York area,” Larry Russo, Jr. said. MarineMax northeast regional president. “We will continue to serve local boating needs through our Huntington and Manhattan locations. With a long history of excellent customer service and superior products from premium brands like Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Azimut, Scout and Galeon, we are confident that MarineMax Huntington and MarineMax Manhattan will continue to exceed expectations as local boating resources.”

Termed the North Shore expansion, MarineMax Huntington will absorb assets from MarineMax Lindenhurst and MarineMax Copiague, this fall. All business operations will discontinue in the Lindenhurst and Copiague locations.

“We plan to retain as many team members and assets as we possibly can through this transition,” Russo, Jr. said. “Our team and our customers are invaluable, and we look forward to making more great memories on the water together.”
