Maryland Announces Latest Clean Marina Certifications and Grant Availability

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources announced the availability of pumpout operations and maintenance (O&M) grant funding for 2026. The Operations and Maintenance grant program provides up to $5,000 reimbursement for eligible pumpout expenses that approved participants incur this season as outlined in the grant Terms and Conditions. The department also announced that the following Maryland Clean Marinas were successfully recertified this winter:
Clean Marinas are re-inspected about every three years to ensure they continue to meet award criteria. Clean Marinas are part of Maryland’s effort to reduce non-point source runoff.
