Miami River Marine Site Sold

Historically known as Bojean Boatyard, the Miami River Marine site sold on October 8 to Andrew Korge. According to Simply Marinas owner/broker Michelle Ash, Korge intends to use the site as a boatyard with long term residential plans, which is now allowed with recent zoning changes. The Miami River offers a hurricane shelter for boats during hurricane season. The site is 1.85 acres with 300 feet of river frontage. It has two large slips ready for a travel lift, an office, and a warehouse. It is grandfathered in for marina use including boat repairs and boat storage. In addition to its marine use, the property is a part of the Palmer Lake Zoning, which allows mixed use that can include hotel, units, office, marina, and commercial use. Simply Marinas represented the buyer and the seller.
