MTA/NJ Accepting Scholarship Applications

The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ) has announced the availability of two education scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year. The MTA/NJ is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing, promoting and protecting the recreational marine industry and the waterways in the state of New Jersey. These scholarships are open to any student interested in pursuing a career in the recreational boating industry who meets the criteria outlined. The following is an overview of the scholarships:

• Boating Industry Scholarship: One $1500 scholarship awarded to a graduating student who has a strong desire to succeed in a recreational boating industry vocational, technical or college program.
• Automotive Training Center: This is a half scholarship ($12,750) for the Marine Service Technology Program at Automotive Training Center in Pennsylvania.
