New Leases Available for Two Marinas in Texas National Park

The National Park Service has issued two Request for Proposals (RFPs): one to lease the Diablo East Marina and one to lease the Rough Canyon Marina, at Amistad National Recreation Area.

Diablo East Marina is on the Amistad Reservoir, just north of US 90, about 13 miles northwest of Del Rio in Val Verde County, Texas. The 27.96-acre marina includes Diablo East Marina docks A, C, P and M, a breakwater, floating storage building and a fuel dock. Included with the fuel dock are dispensers, lines and storage tanks. The facility also includes a marina store and shed.

Rough Canyon Marina is on the Amistad Reservoir, west of US 277, approximately 25 miles north of Del Rio. The 49.69-acre marina includes one dock containing 24 slips, a dock with a boat sewage pump-out station, two gangways, 15 mooring buoys with anchors and one 120 square foot office structure.

Proposals for each RFP are due at 4:00 p.m. EST on October 23 and should include the sample lease, credit and financial information that is indicated on the RFP website. Information should be sent to:
