New Marina Near Fort Myers

Construction of a new marina continues southwest of Fort Myers, Florida. London Bay Development Group broke ground on Saltleaf’s new 72-slip marina last spring, as part of the new 500-acre community on Estero Bay. The Saltleaf community will include the Saltleaf Marina, a five-star waterfront restaurant, Saltleaf Golf Preserve, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, and other residential opportunities. “We are extremely proud to see Saltleaf come to life,” said CEO of London Bay Development Group, Mark Wilson, “and this milestone is an important step forward as we continue to make our vision for this spectacular coastal village a reality.” The public marina will accommodate vessels up to 30 feet in length and is slated to open in 2025.

The marina will serve as the heart of the community’s waterfront access and will also include a network of walking and biking trails. Construction of the Saltleaf Golf Preserve began last year, and the first tee times will be offered later this year. With the town of Bonita Springs nearby and Naples just a short drive away, the Saltleaf community promises to be a hub of activity while maintaining the natural beauty of the Florida coastline on Estero Bay.
