New York Boat Show Ribbon Cutting Highlights Impact of Boating

Marking its 115th year, the Progressive Insurance New York Boat Show opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony and press conference with Governor Andrew Cuomo, a longtime boater and angler, highlighting the importance of the marine industry in New York. This event not only showcased the economic impact of our industry, but also how boating is an important American pastime still valued in today’s fast-paced world.

The Progressive Insurance New York Boat Show’s opening day was also celebrated by ringing the closing bell with Progressive Insurance at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The bell ringing not only signaled the start to the world’s longest running boat show, but also the kick-off to boat show season around the country.

This year’s New York Boat Show features hundreds of exhibitors displaying 350 boats and cutting-edge technologies for sale.
