NMLA Annual Marine Lender’s Survey Underway

The National Marine Lenders Association (NMLA) is conducting its 41st consecutive marine lender’s survey. It’s set for delivery to financial institutions who actively originate recreational boat loans on February 1.

Statistical Surveys, Inc. is NMLA’s official partner handling the confidential survey data that produces the marine lending industry’s Annual Statistical Report.

The survey asks marine lenders to provide loan origination, performance, demographic and floor plan information. The survey analyzes industry data-points and delivers valuable current and historical trends.

The Annual Statistical Report provides participating lenders with powerful trends and data to understand, build and maintain quality marine lending portfolios. The survey produces two distinct business line reports: 1) for banks, credit unions, thrifts and private lenders who originate and hold consumer boat loans, either retail, floor plan or both, and 2) for finance brokers, F&I outsourcers and service companies who originate consumer boat loans and refer them for funding.   The survey is also available for purchase to non-participants.
