NMLA to Promote Loans and Financing at Dealer Week

The Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA) announced that its annual Dealer Week conference has set an all-time record this year for registrations for exhibitors, suppliers, and manufacturers.  The event, which will be held December 4 to 7 in Tampa, Florida, is a highlight of the year for MRAA members, and National Marine Lenders Association (NMLA) will be one of over 147 exhibitors at the show.

One of NMLA’s objectives in attending Dealer Week is to engage with dealers in an effort to partner and educate them in the areas of both consumer marine loans and floor plan financing and specialty marine lending.  These exchanges help keep the dealers competitive in the market and ensure that they are kept up to date with the latest information as it relates to underwriting, collateral valuation, lien perfection, and other issues that they might deal with daily.

Another important aspect of NMLA’s attendance at Dealer Week this year is to relaunch a revised and updated version of its popular tri-fold pamphlet “More Boat Less Monthly”.  This publication was originally developed as a resource for the boat dealership toolkit and consumers. It outlines the advantages of boat buyers utilizing the services of an NMLA marine lending specialist when purchasing a boat through their boat dealer.  The promotional piece can also be used by any industry group or organization involved in promoting the boating lifestyle.  The publication is currently available in PDF format and will soon be available in downloadable print format for any organization wishing to print copies to complement their marketing efforts.

Dealer Week offers a unique opportunity for boat dealers to interact and network directly with a wide range of exhibitor categories, including CRM and dealer management systems, finance and insurance suppliers, technology services, boat and engine manufacturers, and more.
