Oasis Marinas Begins Management at Plattsburgh Boat Basin

Oasis Marinas has begun official operational management of Plattsburgh Boat Basin, located in Plattsburgh, New York. This marina marks the northernmost property for the Annapolis, Maryland, based management team and represents their third venture in New York, joining Troy Downtown Marina and Harris Bay Yacht Club as other Oasis-managed properties in the state.

The decision to transition Plattsburgh Boat Basin to Oasis Marinas underscores the ownership’s commitment to enhancing the boater experience. With the marina now falling under the Oasis umbrella, and the popular Naked Turtle Restaurant remaining on-site, the overall offerings for visitors and boaters in the area will continue to be elevated.

The facility has 270 slips with 76 mooring balls and floating docks capable of accommodating vessels up to 65 feet. It also offers a comprehensive range of amenities and services including a service and parts department, fuel dock, ship’s store, laundry and shower facilities, pumpout stations, storage and haul out capabilities, as well as access to the restaurant. Additionally, the marina houses experienced mechanics who specialize in engine repairs and fiberglass work providing comprehensive support to boaters.

Situated on Cumberland Bay on Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, New York, the marina offers a picturesque setting for boating enthusiasts. The marina’s strategic location places it just 30 minutes south of the Canadian border and two and a half hours north of Albany. Adjacent to Peace Point Park, the marina enjoys a central position in close proximity to downtown, ensuring convenient access to shopping and entertainment areas for marina visitors.
