Oasis Marinas Expands Portfolio with Two Mid-Atlantic Properties

Oasis Marinas, a privately held marina management company based out of Baltimore, Maryland, has expanded its portfolio in the mid-Atlantic. Oasis was awarded management contracts for National Harbor Marina in Washington, D.C. and Hope Springs Marina in nearby Stafford, Virginia. The company will be responsible for day-to-day slip and marina management activities, as well as facilities, grounds maintenance, customer service and marketing.

National Harbor is a 350-acre mixed use development on the Potomac River that has seven hotels, offices, residential area, 150 shops, 30 restaurants and historic attractions. The National Harbor Marina has 62 slips, about 400 feet of side dock dockage, fuel, bathhouse and proximity to all National Harbor has to offer.

Hope Springs Marina is a full-service facility on Aquia Creek. It has a 300-rack indoor boathouse, 180 deep water slips, four launch ramps, clubhouse, bathhouse, fitness center and a beach.

“We have greatly enjoyed growing Hope Springs Marina over the last 25 years,” said Jimmy Franklin, managing partner of Hope Springs Marina. “Now, we look forward to working closely with the team at Oasis Marinas as we usher the property into this new and exciting phase.”
