Oasis Marinas Signs Three New Management Contracts

Oasis Marinas signed three new management contracts in October. “This past month was exceptional for us. We secured our first managed properties in both Indiana and Pennsylvania, while strengthening our footprint in New England,” said Matt Shipman, president of Oasis Marinas.

On October 1, the Oasis team began operations for the first time in the state of Indiana, at Doyne’s Marine. Located in Portage, Indiana, 45 minutes south-east of Chicago, Doyne’s is a large-scale service and storage marina on the East Arm Little Calumet River. Doyne’s Marine is a 40-slip marina, with dry storage space for over 400 vessels. Doyne’s has a strong reputation as one of the area’s top service facilities, armed with trained technicians capable of servicing vessels of any size.

Mid-month, Oasis began operations at its first property in the Keystone State of Pennsylvania. Kalyumet Campground, located in in Lucinda, two hours north of Pittsburgh, is a vast property, including over 150 campsites, a cabin rental, and a large tent camping area. Kalyumet boasts a variety of family friendly activities on-site, such as a heated swimming pool, snack shack, interactive arcade, mini golf course, playground, laser tag, and virtual reality escape room.

To close out the month, Oasis Marinas signed an operational management contract with Noank Shipyard in Noank, Connecticut. This marks the fifth Oasis marina in the state, including nearby Mystic Pointe Marina. Oasis started operations at the property on November 1. Newly owned by Epum Holdings, a real estate investment group, Noank Shipyard is at the intersection of the Long Island Sound and the Mystic River in Connecticut, near Mystic and New London. The marina features over 150 wet slips, a mooring field, 70-ton travel lift, fuel dock, boater’s lounge, a service department, and a restaurant on-site. Noank Shipyard can support vessels up to 200ft, offering indoor and outdoor winter storage from November through April.
