Ocean Life Network Launches FAST TV Network

Ocean Life Network has assembled a team of experienced creators and captains as part of their fall launch for a new Ocean and Marine based FAST (Free Ad Supported Television) TV Network that will operate in conjunction with a new “all encompassing” Ocean Life website.

The new combination will bring a host of marine content under one location for easy searchability and viewing. The television network will bring in content from its partners, which includes the top 30 YouTube creators in the ocean space, via an advertising revenue-share program, in addition to creating its own original content.

OLN will be the first television network to be completely built around, and dedicated to, all things Ocean Life. OLN has partnered with multiple platforms to allow for a wide range of viewership across all popular FAST streaming services as well as the company’s website OLN.World.

Marine industry veteran Capt. Steve Larivee has joined with OLN as Chief Content Officer to create and manage new and existing content on both the television and web platforms. He comes from a background that includes over 42 years as a licensed mariner and over 16 years in marine-based digital media. In his former position as director of testing at BoatTEST.com, he became one of the most widely recognized personalities in the marine industry. Ocean Life Network was founded by chairman and CEO Richard Wolpert, a pioneer in the fields of technology, consumer digital media and entertainment for almost 40 years, with extensive experience as a founder, executive, entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. His background includes positions as president of Disney Online, CSO of RealNetworks, CEO of MusicNet, and most relevant, an investor in both Jukin Media and Canela Media, both of which provide FAST channels.
