Oil Spill Seminars for California Marinas

The California State Parks Division of Boating & Waterways (CA DBW) will host four free seminars on oil spill response resources for marinas and yachts clubs in northern and southern California. Information presented will include equipment grants, third party claims process, spill response communication packet, oil spill kits, California’s oil spill response structure and more. Presenters includes representatives from CA DBW, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and California Coastal Commission’s Boating Clean and Green Program.

The sessions are as follows:

  • Bay Area and Delta, March 14, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Martin Luther King Shoreline Center, 7250 Doolittle Drive, Oakland.
  • San Diego, April 26, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at US Coast Guard Sector San Diego’s Training, Center 2710 N. Harbor Drive (Conference Room), San Diego.
  • Los Angeles, May 3, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Dockweiler Youth Center, 12505 Vista del Mar, Playa de Rey.
  • Lake Tahoe, June 5, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, South Lake Tahoe Yacht Club, 589 Tahoe Keys Blvd, Suite E2, South Lake Tahoe.
