OneWater Marine Holdings Acquires Caribee Boat Sales and Marina

Atlanta-based OneWater Marine Holdings has acquired Caribee Boat Sales and Marina of Islamorada, Florida. Caribee has been serving the Florida Keys since 1947.

Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“As I considered retirement, I wanted to make sure I placed this 72-year old business in good hands,” said Bill Gilbert of Caribee Boat Sales and Marina. “OneWater’s strong financial health, coupled with a very experienced leadership team, gave me the confidence in knowing that under their guidance, Caribee would continue to grow and thrive.”

Caribee Boat Sales offers Grady White, Pursuit, Maverick, Pathfinder, Hewes and Invincible fishing boats. Caribee is the Upper Keys’ only certified Yamaha re-power center; and offers an indoor storage facility that can accommodate boats up to 32 feet in length. The company will continue to operate its current location in Islamadora under the Caribee Boat Sales and Marina name. All existing personnel are expected to remain with the company.
