Pelican Isle Yacht Club Named a Top 50 Yacht Club

Pelican Isle Yacht Club, located on the Cocohatchee River, has been selected again as a Platinum Club of the World under the Top 50 Yacht Club category. Platinum Club recognition is one of the most prestigious awards in the Private Club industry.

Initiated in 2013, the Platinum Clubs of the World vote takes place every other year and is conducted through a worldwide vote of an international panel of industry experts, historians and connoisseurs. Industry leaders vote for clubs that meet the seven Platinum Clubs of the World Selection Criteria, which include:

• Universal recognition
• A respected membership
• Excellence in amenities and facilities
• Adaption to changing times
• Management and Operations
• Overall Experience

The advisory board reviews and updates the selection criteria on an annual basis to respond to changing trends in private club leadership, operations and management.
