Plans Announced for 48th Annual MRA Conference

The 48th Annual Marine Recreation Association Educational Conference & Trade Show will be held October 21 to 23 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines Resort in San Diego, California. The 3-day conference will focus on challenges and opportunities that exist in the marina industry today and feature strategies for enhancing guest services and customer satisfaction, improving operations and regulatory compliance, and optimizing fiscal results.
Seminars and roundtable discussions will cover key marine industry management, operations and marketing concerns. The event will also house a trade show with the latest technology, products and services from industry vendors and contractors.
The conference will kick off October 21 with three special events: the annual golf tournament, the “Introduction to Marina Operations” seminar and the annual MRA Marina & Boatyard Tour.
The introduction course is a one-day, two-session seminar offered as a standalone educational program. The two sessions are “Policy & Practices” and “Safety & Maintenance”.
This year’s marina and boatyard tour will visit Half Moon Marina, Point Loma Marina, Sun Harbor Marina and Marine Group Boat Works.
