Renovations for Lake Michigan Marina

After a series of updates, the LakeShore Towers Marina is now welcoming Lake Michigan boaters with 53 new slips. Located in Racine, Wisconsin, the marina was developed by LakeShore Towers Marina Association with design and construction support from Edgewater Resources and Meeco Sullivan.

A fixed frame timber structure with long-lasting IPE decking, 6×6-inch timber rub rails and dockside utilities, the new system can accommodate boats up to 62 feet in length and is a complete upgrade from the original 1989 marina. The project included a black powder-coated gangway, adding a sleek modern aesthetic to set the marina apart from the traditional style.

“It has been an extreme pleasure working with Meeco Sullivan every step of this project from the initial sale to design to completion,” said David Schiel, president of the LakeShore Towers Marina Association.
