Sail250 Waterfront Upgrades

In support of the year’s historic Fourth of July festivities, Meeco Sullivan provided gangways for the Sail250 events in both Boston, Massachusetts, and New York City. The event showcased tall ships from across the globe for nearly a week of cruises, tours and other events. Meeco Sullivan provided two 4-by-60-foot Mariner I aluminum gangways for the celebration in New York City and one Mariner I aluminum gangway for the Boston event.

Sail250 is a global gathering of tall ships and military vessels to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. According to the Sail250 website, the event traces its heritage to the first Operation Sail in 1964, endorsed by President John F. Kennedy.
