Scribble Software Releases Updated MarinaOffice Suite
Published on May 26, 2022Scribble Software’s Version 11.2.1 of the MarinaOffice Suite of Solutions is now available.
Highlights for the MarinaOffice program include:
- The reservation customer is now automatically assigned as the owner of the vessel when adding a new vessel through Location Management or the Reservation process.
- New security setting that requires a customer to be assigned to the slip when doing entry for customer-related fields on Location Management.
- Repaired the MarineSync meter to consistently import data the same whether as CSV or API.
- New alerts to inform users of the wide range of changes that can occur when a vessel name is changed.
- Users may now save an image that is stored within a folder path that includes a period in the file name.
Highlights for PureRetail:
- New “Hot Key” button to allow the user to decide how they want the “Print Receipt” button to act.
- Enlarged item edit button on the cash register is now affected by the cash register font size.
- New “Pay Bill” and “Print Receipt” options added for the three “Hot Key” programmable buttons.
- Updated rental completion process so that security deposits are now handled one of three ways:
o As a full refund to the consumer
o Used to balance out the consumer’s remaining bill
o Kept by the property
- Updated the process of voiding a sales receipt with an integrated gift card payment to be in line with the process used for integrated credit cards for OpenEdge and Payment Innovators.
- Resolved issue with returning the cursor to the category/item work area on the cash register after an integrated credit card transaction with emailed receipt.
- Corrected an issue found when applying credits when using a non-US currency.
- Updated the auto-credit card transaction process to better alert the user when a connection with QuickBooks has been lost.
- The multi-item name/SKU cross-reference pop-up will no longer display inactive or deleted items.
