Respondents indicated the largest boat that their slips could accommodate (Fig. 2A). The majority accommodate boats up to 65 feet. The survey also looked at how marinas charge for dockage (Fig. 2B). Slips are rented either by the slip size (45%) or by the boat size (43%) with only 12% charging a flat fee. The majority of respondents, about 40%, offered storage at slips (Fig. 2C). Side-tie dockage is available at about one-quarter of facilities. Dry storage, either open or closed, is available at 18% of the locations.
