Second Phase of Miami Marina Redevelopment Plan is Complete

Hurricane Cove Marina in downtown Miami, Florida, has completed the second phase of a redevelopment master plan with the help of Golden Marine Systems. Phase II included the placement of 3,300 square feet of Golden’s Series 9 fixed aluminum dock system topped with Envision Spiced Teak composite decking. Golden Boat Lifts also provided 68 of its 30,000 pound four-post boat lifts, which were installed by Golden’s local dealer, Southeast Marine Construction. The lifts are constructed of marine-grade aluminum and powered by the company’s patented Sea-Drive system, which offers smooth and reliable lift operation with less maintenance.

Phase I, which was completed earlier this year, included replacing 5,400 square feet of floating docks. “We are extremely proud to have been selected as the provider for both the dock systems and boat lifts at Hurricane Cove Marina,” said Michael Shanley, president of Golden Marine Systems. Shanley shared the financial and operational benefits of boat lift marinas, which he sees as a promising shift in the marina industry. “Golden is proud to be at the forefront of this evolving marina design trend.”
