Suntex to Fundraise for Folds of Honor During Miami Beach Marina Grand Opening

Suntex Marina Investors, LLC (Suntex), the owner and operator of marina properties, announced it will hold a fundraising event for Folds of Honor during the grand opening of Miami Beach Marina in Miami, Florida. Local dignitaries, industry leaders and the media will attend the Grand Opening event, featuring food, cocktails, entertainment and both live and silent auctions.

“We are honored to hold this fundraising effort at the beautiful Miami Beach Marina during our Grand Opening Celebration,” said Johnny Powers, CEO of Suntex. “Since 2012, Suntex Marinas has partnered with the Folds of Honor and their mission to provide scholarships to the families of fallen and wounded soldiers. While we are celebrating our new management of Miami Beach Marina, driving awareness for the Folds of Honor cause is paramount to our core values. We are honored to be able to use this event to help those who have sacrificed so much for our country.”

Suntex assumed official management of Miami Beach Marina after acquiring equity interest in the marina from RCI Group in mid-January. Miami Beach Marina is two minutes from the ocean, close to the Miami International Airport and downtown Miami, and next door to South Beach. It offers 400 boat slips for vessels up to 250 feet, as well as many amenities.
