The Town of Palm Beach Marina Renovation To Wrap Up November 1

The Town of Palm Beach is nearing completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation of its Marina, scheduled to reopen on November 1. The $40 million in upgrades and improvements will transform the classic docks into a yacht center that can accommodate vessels from 60′ to the 294’. The Town of Palm Beach Marina is currently taking seasonal (November 1 – April 30), annual (December 1 – November 30), and transient slip reservations.

The only public marina on the island of Palm Beach has been providing berthing for power and sail yachts since the 1940s. The new Town Marina will provide patrons with 84 slips, located along the Australian, Brazilian, and Peruvian docks, while introducing a new 250-foot Royal Palm Dock. Marina patrons will benefit from an enhanced master plan that includes a floating dock system, and a suite of technological upgrades such as high-speed Wi-Fi, enhanced shore power, and state-of-the-art security systems. Guests will also have complimentary access to the oceanfront Par 3 Golf Course, the recently updated health and wellness facilities at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center, and the Town’s 13 tennis courts.

The Marina is located steps away from the island’s high-end Worth Avenue shopping and dining district and offers access to the Town’s recreational amenities.

“The modernization of the Palm Beach Marina will work in harmony with the Town’s ethos, style, and quality of life,” said Carolyn Stone, Palm Beach Assistant Town Manager. “Palm Beachers expect the best, and that’s what we’ll have when the completely upgraded and renovated Marina opens.”
