Tiger Docks Shares Gifts for Local Kids in Need

In December, Tiger Docks teamed with its local Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program to collect toys and bikes for local kids in need. Tiger Docks had a goal of filling its company trailer and collecting at least 100 bikes. The company started as a drop-off location and amped up to being a coordinator for the collections in their area.

Tiger Docks employees drove around to collect toys from individuals and businesses, and over the course of six weeks, toys and bikes flooded Tiger Docks’ showroom. The company filled its semi-trailer and had so many more toys to give that a nearby business offered use of its flat-bed work truck to get the toys delivered. Tiger Docks also broke the goal of 100 bikes by collecting nearly double that amount at 196.

“Local businesses, friends, family and our own employees were so happy to give, making it at ruly emotional experience. The community really showed up for the kids this Christmas and we couldn’t be happier with the people we are surrounded by both personally and professionally,” said Chrissy Davis, Tiger Docks CEO.
