TopSide Marinas Acquires Pikes Bay Marina

TopSide Marinas, a family-owned company that acquires and operates high-quality marinas around the country, announced the acquisition of Pikes Bay Marina, a full-service marina located on the shores of Lake Superior in Bayfield, Wisconsin.

Founded in 2001 and based in the Apostle Islands, Pikes Bay Marina is recognized as one of the finest destinations in the Great Lakes region. Named Marina of the Year in 2018, the marina features more than 200 wet slips with sizes ranging from 30 to 60 feet and side ties up to 90 feet. The facility also includes heated indoor storage, outdoor storage, a marine service center, a ship store, a fuel dock, a clubhouse and wide floating docks designed for easy boarding and safe navigation. TopSide Marinas plans to increase the original equipment manufacturers (OEMS) it will be servicing, along with adding more technicians, acquiring stronger equipment to better service all types of boats, including larger ones and offering winter service to snowmobiles and tractors.

With this acquisition, TopSide Marinas continues its growth strategy of investing in high-quality marinas across the country, while maintaining a focus on community, customer service, and long-term stewardship.
