TowBoat US Locations Now Listed in the Waterway Guide

BoatUS, the nation’s largest advocacy, services, and savings organization for recreational boaters, and Waterway Guide Media, North America’s most trusted provider of verified navigation and cruising data, have just announced a new partnership for BoatUS members. Through this partnership, TowBoatUS’s 330-plus towing port locations will be incorporated across the Waterway Guide’s Explorer web platform, Waterway Guide Mobile App and the company’s API services.

This partnership will create a unified experience for boaters—and for the broader marine industry—by providing trusted TowBoatUS locations directly into Waterway Guide’s digital products and the platforms of third-party navigation apps and technology partners that use Waterway Guide’s API.

Waterway Guide’s API ecosystem distributes verified point of interest data, including marina, anchorage, bridge, lock, fuel price, and services data across a growing network of marine navigation apps and onboard navigation systems, including platforms such as Aqua Map, iNavX, Savvy Navvy, SeaIQ, Raymarine and other marine technology partners. As a result, TowBoatUS locations and BoatUS member benefits will now extend into these third-party navigation platforms through Waterway Guide Media.

As part of this collaboration, BoatUS members receive a 20% discount on Waterway Guide products and can use the Waterway Guide platforms to access TowBoatUS towing ports, view member discounts, and improve trip planning.
