Dredging and Upgrades at Sunrise Harbor Marina

Westrec MarinasSunrise Harbor has announced the completion of upgrades that will enable it to better serve its megayacht customers.

In August 2019, the marina began 10-week dredging operations. “This was done for maintenance and also to enable us to accommodate the larger draft boats in today’s market,” said Brad St. Coeur, manager. The marina now has a deep draft of 11 feet throughout.

The offices at Sunrise Harbor have been given a makeover that includes new windows and new furnishings. The marina’s fitness center has been expanded and remodeled, with new state-of-the-art fitness equipment and men’s and women’s changing rooms. The tenant spa on the property, Casbah Spa, has also upgraded and remodeled its space to better serve the marina’s guests.

The installation of a new security system, which operates all doors and elevators and controls access to the garage, provides the marina with better tracking capabilities so they can know who comes on-site and goes off-site and which doors they used. The marina has improved its Wi-Fi to cover the entire facility with high-speed service.
