Upgrades to Jacksonville Beach Marina

Thanks to the teamwork of Windward Marina Group, Golden Boat Lifts, and Jacksonville-based Beacon Construction, Jax Beach Marine has undergone extensive upgrades. Located just east of Jacksonville on Beach Boulevard, the marina provides direct access to Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway. Among the recent improvements, which include new seawalls, increased storage, and renovated customer service facilities, the marina is proud to offer 25 new Golden boat lifts to its customers.

Golden also used their Systems 9-Series aluminum walkways to create 25 custom fixed docks for access to each lift. Each dock is built from fully welded 6061 T6 marine-grade aluminum with stainless steel components and topped with Endeck composite decking. Other recent work included dredge work to deepen the marina to six feet at low tide to accommodate larger vessels, as well as upgrading the marina’s power from 208V dual phase to 240V single phase.

Boat lifts can protect vessels by eliminating fender wear caused by continuous wave action and mitigating marine growth by keeping the hull dry. Gustafson said the facility is
