ABBRA Classes Coming to Newport in January

The American Boat Builder and Repairer Association (ABBRA) is bringing two of its most popular courses to Newport, Rhode Island, in January 2020, hosted by IYRS (International Yacht Restoration School) School of Technology & Trades.

The courses, Marine Service Manager TM, from January 5 to 9, and Step up to Supervisor, from January 13 to 14, are now open for registration.

The four-day Marine Service Manager course is designed for individuals working in management or leadership roles in boatbuilding, refit, repair and service facilities. Participants will gain new insights from ABBRA’s instructors and peers, on issues and challenges common throughout the industry. Attendees will establish a network of contacts in the industry from facilities around the country.
