Innovation Breakfast at Miami International Boat Show Will Feature U.S. Secretary Zinke

The keynote address at this year’s Innovation Breakfast at the Miami International Boat Show will be given by U.S. Department of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke. Zinke recently announced the creation of the Recreation Advisory Committee, and he has been working with the Outdoor Recreation Industry Roundtable, both actions designed to help improve outdoor recreation opportunities for Americans.

The keynote is just part of the agenda for the Innovation Breakfast, which will also include a VIP guest speaker, welcome from show manager Larry Berryman, and award presentation by Thom Dammrich, president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association. Frank Peterson, president of the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) will give a presentation on recruiting new anglers, and Kris Mayer, general director of General Motors (GM) wholesale, marine and industrial sales, will present information on GM Marine Engine Technology in the boating industry.

The breakfast is presented by GM Marine Engine Technology and the RBFF, with support from Enterprise Florida. The Miami International Boat Show runs February 15 to 19.
